This is an eternal truth, so reassuring and always comforting in our lives, and we are grateful to almighty God for His blessing.
“Heaven and earth
Will pass away,
But my words will
Not pass away.”
Matthew 24,33
Just think for a moment, we can trust the Word of Christ, for He always speaks truthfully. How nice it is that there is one word that never changes.

“If we live by the Spirit,

Let us not be conceited,

God’s wish for His people is given us, among many others, by the prophet Micah when he said.
“He has told you, O man,
What is good; and what does

To do justice, and to love
Kindness, and to walk
Humbly with your God.”

Today is St. Patrick’s day. Born in Ireland, was captured by pirates, he escaped, studied theology, and returned to Ireland to establish 300 churches according to tradition. A real putting Paul’s advice to work.

When we share the salvation story of forgiveness, we learn it better ourselves, this Psalm promises.
“He who brings blessing
Will be enriched, and one
waters will himself
be watered.”
Psalm 11, 25

God is always true to what He has promised.
“The Lord is a stronghold
For the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble.”
Psalm 9,9
It is a fine feeling to know we can always count on our God to keep His promises of salvation, is it not?

The cost was high.
“Knowing that you were
Ransomed from the futile
Ways inherited from your
Forefathers, not with perishable
Things such as silver and gold,
But with the precious blood
Of Christ, like that of a lamb,
Without blemish or spot.”
1 Peter 1, 18.19.
Our redemption comes with a cross.

This Gospel is given to every Christian.
“But as it is written,
What no eye has seen nor ear heard,
Nor the heart of man imagined,
What God has prepared
For those who love Him,
These things God has
Revealed to us through His
Spirit. For the Spirit searches
Everything, even the depths of God.”
1 Corinthians 2, 9.10

Here is one promise we stand on.
“Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily bears us up,
God is our salvation.”
Psalm 68,19.
This holding up is from the salvation won by Jesus’ death on the cross where He died for our sins.
