Shade Tree Wisdom 1/24/2017
The apostle Paul declares that he remains a sinner, though he is a saint who is forgiven.
“The saying is trustworthy
And deserving of full
Acceptance, that Christ
Jesus came into the world
To save sinners, of whom
I am the foremost.”
1Timothy 1,15.
This explains the phrase we so often hear, “saint and sinner”.
