          John, the forerunner of Christ, sees Him and cries out: “and he looked at Jesus As He walked by And said, ’Behold, The Lamb of God’ John 1,30 So John, who was born to be first, identifies Jesus as the Lamb of God, born as a man to die in our stead, pay for our sins, and give us eternal life.
