Shade Tree Wisdom 3/25/2016 Today we observe Good Friday; we call it ‘good’ because of Jesus’ death when He spoke His last word. “When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said ’it is finished’ and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” The word He uses for finished carries the meaning of having something really well better than was expected. That is just what His death accomplished, our eternal life for in death He made the ultimate payment for our many sins. GPD 3/25/16/
