Shade Tree Wisdom 3/4/2016 The one thing we all need “One thing is necessary. Mary has chosen That good portion Which will not be Taken away from her.” Luke 10,42 This scripture comes from the visit Jesus paid at the home of Martha and her sister, Mary. While Martha was busy preparing the meal and other household chore, Mary was seated at Jesus’ feet, listening quietly to His talk And just that is something we all ought to be doing regularly. Not only on Sunday as we attend the worship service, but daily we ought to read Scripture to feed our soul. GPD 3/4/16
