Shade Tree Wisdom 6/8/2016 Here is a hymn verse that speaks to us. “Oh, to grace how great a debtor Daily I’m constrained to be; Let that grace now like a fetter Bind my wandering heart to Thee; Prone to wander, Lord, I feel I; Prone to leave the God I love. Here’s my heart, O take and seal it, Seal it for Thy courts above.” LSB 686,3 The lines, ‘prone to wander, prone to leave the God I love’, simply speak volumes to our lives so often drawn away to some earthy delight.
