Shade Tree Wisdom 10/6/14

“My sin,oh the bliss of this glorious thought

My sin, not the part, but the whole.

Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,

Praise the Lord, all is well with soul”.

          And for the soul forgiven and called righteous before God, I offer this evening prayer:

“O Lord, support us the day long

Of this troublous life, until the shadows lengthen,

And the evening comes,

And the busy world is hushed,

And the fever of life is over,

And our work is done.

Then, Lord, in Thy mercy, grant us safe lodging.

And holy rest,

And peace at the last,

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.”

          And God bless you this day and always.
