Shade Tree Wisdom 2/12/2016 1 Corinthians chapter 13 is often called the love chapter From it we get such phrases as ‘a noisy gong or a clanging symbol’. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; Is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on having its own way; It is not irritable or resentful: 1 Corinthians 13,4.5 Often we are that. Arrogant, rude, and resentful if we don’t get out own way. Like a child on the playground who likes to make their own rules, and gets upset when others call such behavior unfair. I remember being in my study at church and hearing the school children play during recess and how often I heard the cry, “That’s not fair”. GPD 2/12/16
