          The Gospel of St. Mark, which begins by speaking of the messenger to come, ends this way:

“And they went out and preached

Everywhere, while the Lord

Worked with them

And confirmed the message

By accompanying Signs.

          Os the Gospel begun in a hurry to get the word to the waiting world, ends with the disciples doing exactly that.

          Surely, surly an example for us who have this saving, exciting and energizing, story of salvation through Jesus Christ.

“Let us then be up doing with a heart for any fate

Learn to labor, learn to wait.”
