Shade Tree Wisdom 8/28/15

          The Gospel of John ends with these encouraging words:

“Now there are also many

  other things that Jesus did.

Were every one of them to be written,

I suppose the world itself

Could not contain

\the books that would be written.”

          That is the ending  of this marvelous story of our saving Lord’s earthy life. Now it becomes  our yoyfull  duty to tell is urgently to a waiting ear in this sin-riddled world of ours .So, as the worker would say,. “let’s get cracking”.

“Let us then be up and doing,

With a heart for any fate;

Still achieving, still pursuing,

Learn to labor, learn to wait.”

                   So there lies the ending, leaving it up to us who read and know it to tell that wonderful story of salvation.
