Shade Tree Wisdom 10/1/15

Zechariah, John the Baptists father, prophesied this:

“To give light to  

Those who sit  in darkness,

And in the shadow of death,

To guide our feet

Into the way of peace.”

Luke 1, 79

          And that is the reason Jesus commended Mary, for she who once sat in darkness of sin is now walking in the light, which is the saving word of Jesus, leading people out of the darkness of sin into the eternal light of salvation, which is Jesus, who said of Himself, “I am the Light of the World” showing the way out of the darkness of sin.
