This verse of Psalm expresses a truth
that ought to be regularly on the lips of every Christian.
“For a day in your courts
is better than
a thousand
elsewhere.
I would rather be
A doorkeeper in
The house of my God,
Than dwell in the
Tents of wickedness.”
Psalm 84,10.
One might say this Psalm is talking
about attending divine worship. A father might just say at breakfast on Sunday,
we are going to worship today. No question.
