Here is an old Gospel hymn, often sung
at revivals of the faithful, and carrying a truth for our living today.
“Beneath the cross of Jesus,
I fain would take my stand
The shadow of a mighty Rock,
Within a weary land;
A home within the wilderness,
A rest upon the way,
From the burning of the noontide heat,
And the burden of the day”.
Think of it for that moment when you rest, wearied from toilsome cares of life, for a moment to refresh the weary one.
