Really, if we do take that advice to heart,
If we really follow it, the year that lies before
us,
Still untouched,
Unbesmirched,
Unsullied,
Pristine,
Will be filled with
Blessing, growth in skills,
Rich with joy
And God-given pleasure.
So, walk confidently into the new year,
Sure of God’s nearness according to His
Promise, “and lo, I will be with you
To the end of the age.”
